About Muraba Veil
'Muraba Veil' in 'Al Wasl' area project description
Muraba Veil is an ultra-narrow luxury residential tower in Al Wasl, Dubai, rising 380 meters tall and just 22.5 meters wide across 73 floors, housing 131 exclusive residences from two- to five-bedroom apartments and duplexes. Developed by Muraba Properties, founded by Ibrahim Al Ghurair, the project emphasizes refined minimalism, architectural purity, and a seamless blend of modern innovation with Arabian heritage. Construction is underway with anticipated completion in Q4 2028.
The architecture, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning RCR Arquitectes from Spain and engineered by WSP with ARUP oversight, draws inspiration from traditional Middle Eastern elements like Mashrabiya latticework. A signature semi-perforated "veil" screen encases the slender structure, filtering sunlight, promoting natural cross-ventilation, and reducing mechanical cooling needs. This creates an ethereal microclimate with wind scoops and shaded enclosures reinterpreting historic courtyards vertically. Residences feature dual-aspect views of the Arabian Gulf and Burj Khalifa, generous ceiling heights from 3.2 to 7.65 meters, and most include private open-air gardens, pools, and terraces spanning the tower's full width for optimal light and airflow.
The layout prioritizes seclusion and serenity, with each residence occupying the entire floor width for maximum openness. Terraces on opposite sides offer city skyline vistas on one end and canal district perspectives on the other, fostering indoor-outdoor living amid lush vegetation and private water features evoking desert oases.
Amenities cater to discerning residents, including a subterranean wellness spa, rooftop restaurant for elite social circles, and private cinema. These spaces enhance privacy while providing destinations for sophisticated gatherings.
Strategically located at Dubai's geographic heart where Sheikh Zayed Road crosses the Dubai Water Canal, Muraba Veil sits in vibrant Al Wasl near Downtown Dubai. Jumeirah Beach is accessible via a 10-minute bike ride or 30-minute walk along the canalside paths, blending urban pulse with coastal proximity.
Nearby projects include Vela Viento by Omnipresence and Dorchester Collection in Marasi Bay, featuring 92 waterfront residences designed by Foster + Partners. The area around City Walk and Al Barari hosts additional luxury developments like Villa Solana, reinforcing Al Wasl's status as a hub for high-end living. Muraba Veil stands as Dubai's thinnest tower, a landmark of sustainable elegance amid the city's evolving skyline.
